I've had the pleasure of meeting Phil at the beginning of the sailing season of 2015. Phil's love and knowledge of sailing are apparent from the first time we met him. Wavelength sailing school offers superior well structured courses. The locally based Instructors are very experienced and know the surrounding waters very well. Our whole family including my 11 year old son and 8 year old daughter have all definitely fallen in love with sailing and plan to cruise more and more in the summers to come.

Recommended place for visit in north shore. Very beautiful place.

Must try when in Thunder Bay! Sunset rides are great, large catamaran, perfect for larger groups. You can be inside if it rains, 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms! Kitchen, sundeck. very unique to sail on the largest fresh water lake.

The best sailing club ever

Bonjour, je vous mis l'experience pour comprendre la situation et la raison rating.On est partie une journée en fin d'été pis ca l'air que a matin y'avait des orages et un peu de pluie. ce qui egale des courants forts.Bon, on est arrivé de loins (montreal) où la météo étais genial. A notre arrivée on a demandé si ca va etre penible. Ils nous ont repondu que vous aller tomber cest sur (come cest paddle board). Alors on est partie quand meme.Beh on a fais des sur place 45min, j'avais un ami qui avait deja a la base peur de l'eau mais une chance que moi je suis correct alors j'ai resté avec. On étais les seules 4 personnes sur l'eau mais y avait aucune surveillance de leurs part. Leurs bateau de sauvetage étais entrain de dormir.Une chance y avait un monsieur dans son bateau qui a remarqué et il nous a aidé. on a fait 20min de marche par la suite car on est sortis sur la plage plus proche. Et a notre arrivée le gars de sauvetage a osé meme nous lancer un commentaire vous êtes correct

I just returned from a very intense 5-day RYA Skipper course. Simply 'wow', and kudos to our instructor Will. A week full of practical and theoretical experience, inc navigation at night, engine check, etc. Would recommend to anyone looking for sailing courses.

This volunteer,non profit organization has the best courses from beginner boater to advanced. Online or in person. Keeping boaters and families safe.

By the end of the course I took, I felt confident in my abilities to operate a sailboat. The instructor and the learning environment really helped me develop safe habits on the water, and taught me to have fun while doing it. The instructor not only teaches you how to sail, but will explain why things are done the way they are.You will undoubtedly learn the beauty of sailing and enjoy the challenge of improving your skills, no matter your experience with boats.
